KUALA LUMPUR: Rock trio Estranged will be entertaining fans in Persada Johor, Johor Baru next Feb 3 in their comeback Konsert Apa Khabar Teman?

They plan to have popular singer-actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin as their guest artiste, as she performed the hit duet Hancur Aku with them back in 2015.

Hancur Aku entered the semi-finals of Muzik-Muzik 31 in 2016 and is part of their album Sepenuhnya Vol. 1.

Estranged, which comprises vocalist Rich Gimbang and guitarists Din Hormat and Hanafi Hadi, plan to "take fans back to their 2000s heydays" in the two-hour concert.

In an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday, Rich said: "Besides Fazura there will be other guest artistes. However, we cannot confirm things yet.

"The concert will be an informal sing-along event and the reason why we chose Johor Baru as the concert venue is because there are lots of East Malaysians working there."

Estranged, whose best known song Itu Kamu won Best Rock Song in Anugerah Juara Lagu 22 is still active in Sabah, Rich's home state.

"This concert is our comeback to Peninsular Malaysia after seven years. It is also to introduce us to music lovers of the 2020s," said Rich, who participated in the fourth season of reality talent show Akademi Fantasia in 2006.
