KUALA LUMPUR: To celebrate the skills of the younger athletes participating in MILO sporting events, MILO is offering the MILO x FAM Ultimate Experience for young football enthusiasts.

This event, which has a history of supporting sports and sportsmanship principles stretching back to the 1950s, attempts to encourage young Malaysians to achieve in local sporting events while cultivating vital qualities that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Together with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), the MILO x FAM Ultimate Experience organised a special event for 106 gifted children who won the MILO Junior Champions League 2023. The children ranged in age from 6 to 16.

Nearly 9,000 kids nationally participated in five categories of this joint MILO and FAM initiative, which provided them with a platform to showcase their football prowess.

The young champions were completely engrossed in the exciting world of football at the FAM headquarters, making it an unforgettable experience.

Following the masterclass, the budding athletes explored the state-of-the-art facilities at the FAM headquarters. 

On top of this, former winners of MILO Hidup Bola, now playing professionally with the national team, were also present to greet the kids and inspire them on their journey as emerging football talents.

The experience also commemorated Malaysia's national team qualifying for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 after 42 years. 

To celebrate this achievement, the children were treated to a private livestream viewing party at the Bukit Jalil Sports School, where they joined fellow students and indulged in the exhilarating match between Malaysia and Bahrain in the AFC Asian Cup 2023.

"MILO is honoured to collaborate with FAM to bring this amazing experience to inspire our young champions of tomorrow," Nestlé (Malaysia) Bhd sports marketing manager of MILO Kerwin Lim said in a statement. 

"This is even more meaningful as we celebrate Harimau Malaya's latest historic milestone in football. 

"Since our inception in 1950, MILO has been steadfast in its belief in developing football hopefuls of today by instilling a genuine love for the game as well as sound values that will also support them in life," he added. 

In addition to the MILO x FAM Ultimate Experience, MILO also extended the celebration to the wider community with public viewing parties at 17 local eateries nationwide. 

The lively gatherings brought together crowds of football enthusiasts in their support for Harimau Malaya.
