KUALA LUMPUR: It was yet another heartbreak for Wee Ming Hock on the PSA WSF Satellite Tour. The 22-year-old had been aiming for redemption following his loss in the final of the PSA WSF Satellite No. 8 in Petaling Jaya in August.

However, in the Satellite No. 12 final at Arena Squash in Ipoh today, Ming Hock fell short, losing 11-4, 11-8, 11-5 to South Korea's Lee Min Woo.En route to the final, Ming Hock defeated compatriots M. Nickleshwar (11-3, 11-8, 1-11, 11-8) and Sunil Kumar (11-5, 8-11, 11-3, 11-3) in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, respectively.

World No. 200 Ming Hock started the season by winning back-to-back PSA Satellites in Singapore, making his first titles on the tour since turning professional four years ago. "I am disappointed for not winning my third PSA Tour title despite two final appearances in Malaysia," said Ming Hock.

"I have problems winning on home soil and playing against South Korean players. I played well in both PSA tournaments but could not make it count in the finals against Korean opponents."Ming Hock is determined to work hard and improve his game for his next tournament at the US$12,000 CAS International in Islamabad, Pakistan, from Nov 30-Dec 4.
