KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) Juniors will face Kuala Lumpur City Hall in the Junior Hockey League Division Two final on Saturday.

BJSS edged PPHT Thunderbolt 3-1 in a penalty shootout after both teams were tied 2-2 in regulation time in the semi-final at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil today.

Amirul Syahmi Khazlin, Gagandeep Singh and Danish Musyrif Suffian converted the penalty strokes for BJSS while Syazwan Shah Shahrul replied for PPHT.

Suolihin Mustaqim Jafridin gave PPHT the lead in the 14th minute, but BJSS fought back to take a 2-1 lead with goals by Haikal Ramgoffizan (36th) and Hafiz Sukkeri (47th).

PPHT, however, levelled through Syazwan Shah in the 53rd minute.

In the second semi-final match, City Hall outplayed MSSPP-PSHA 5-1 at the same venue. Shahmie Irfan Suhaimi scored a brace for City Hall in the 36th and 55th minute. Irfan Raziq Syakir Ridzuan (2nd), Airil Abdul Razak (15th) and Syafiq Abdullah (38th) contributed the other goals.

Shaikh Amin Shaik Mazanan (52nd) replied for MSSPP.

BJSS Juniors and City Hall will also be promoted to Division One next year.
