KUALA LUMPUR: Argentina were given a scare before the reigning Olympic champions edge Malaysia 1-0 in a friendly match in Mar Del Plata on Friday.

Lucas Rossi was the toast for Argentina with a penalty corner goal in the 56th minute.

National captain Sukri Mutalib said: “We are satisfied with our performance.

“However, we were a little off in terms of rhythm and our play could have been better.

“There were, however, a lot of positives.

"I believe we will do better in the following matches once we are comfortable with the weather,” Sukri.

Stephen Van Huizen's side will play the second friendly on Sunday.
