KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia finished fourth in the women's hockey Tuanku Zara International Indoor tournament after a 2-0 loss to Australia at Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh today.

On target for Australia were Jessica Moffat (23rd minute) and Holly Gilbar (31st).

South Africa won the women's title after edging Switzerland 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the final after both teams were tied 1-1 in regulation time.

Namibia won the men's Sultan Nazrin Shah Indoor title after edging South Africa 3-2 in a penalty shootout. Both teams drew 2-2 in regulation time.

New Zealand defeated Australia 6-4 to win bronze.
