KUALA LUMPUR: Following the horrific acid attack on Faisal Halim and threats made to Selangor FC team officials, their defender, Khuzaimi Piee, now fears for his family's safety after a burglary at his house yesterday.

Khuzaimi is now deeply worried that his home address may get into the wrong hands due to the burglar(s) taking his passport.

"My greatest worry now is the stolen passport with our village address. I fear for my family's safety in the village," Khuzaimi told Timesport in a quavering voice.

At the time of the break-in, Khuzaimi was not at home, and his wife and child were living in Melaka.

"I live alone here in Shah Alam. Thankfully, no one was home during the incident," Khuzaimi said.

In his police report, Khuzaimi said his Yamaha motorcycle, four branded sling bags and passport were stolen.

Khuzaimi's house was broken into while he was at a training session at the Selangor Training Centre.

The theft of his motorcycle, in particular, has hit him hard. Purchased in 2018, it symbolised the beginning of his journey as a professional footballer.

"The other missing items are replaceable, but that motorcycle holds so many special memories for me.

"It helped me navigate through the tough times of my football career. But what's done is done, and I trust the police to handle the investigation," said Khuzaimi.
