PETALING JAYA: Selangor fans set aside their rivalry with Kedah to show support for acid-attack victim Faisal Halim during today's Super League match at MBPJ Stadium here.

The show of support for Selangor's No. 7 occurred when the clock hit seven minutes, with fans standing up and clapping as the image of 'Stand with Faisal Halim, Stop the Violence' was displayed on the scoreboard.

On May 5, Faisal fell victim to an acid attack at a Damansara shopping mall, leaving him with severe burns.

He has undergone four surgeries and is expected to be discharged next week.
