KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) clinched their 27th title, securing the Charity Shield after being awarded a 3-0 victory following Selangor's withdrawal.

Club owner Tunku Mahkota Ismail shared a photo of the squad from the team's social media pages, capturing the bittersweet moment at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, which was supposed to host the game.

"Another one. Sad to win this way but rezeki is rezeki. Allah is the greatest planner," posted Tunku Mahkota Ismail.

Selangor decided not to participate in the match following the acid attack on their winger, Faisal Halim, and for security concerns.
