MY family recently visited a fast food outlet, but it was a disappointing experience. The food was not up to mark, while the personnel attending to us weren't suitable for the job.

The experience left a bad taste as we had spent a considerable amount of money at the outlet.

A fortnight later, we patronised the same fast food outlet, but in a different location.

This time, the food and service was to our satisfaction. The food was fresh, of a sizeable quantity and appetising.

The staff were professional. We left the premises in a good mood.

We were pleasantly surprised after a complaint was made about the shoddy treatment we received at the former outlet, the regional manager was quick to respond.

She called my son to apologise for the outlet's shortcomings. She thanked my son for highlighting the issue so that she could act on it.

She offered us a complimentary dinner, which we accepted.

The food and service provided was again second to none. We were also given a complimentary gift.

It is nice to know that customer service is not taken lightly by such establishments.
