The coalitions are having discussions on forming a new government.

It is important for them to set aside their ego and differences to ensure political stability.

Our country is only just recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic and is also facing a rising cost of living.

There are proposals by some to form a unity government.

One advantage of a unity government is that all parties and politicians will temporarily stop arguing and unite under one government.

This pause will allow the government to focus on the pandemic and tackle the rising cost of living.

However, a unity government can lead to fewer checks and balances as most politicians will be under one government.

In conclusion, those involved in the formation of a new government must consider all factors to ensure Malaysians benefit from whatever outcome.
