KANGAR: The Perlis PKR polls, which were postponed last month, would take place on Oct 21.
Perlis PKR chairman Mohd Faisol Abdul Rahman said the date was announced by the PKR’s election committee (JPP) this evening.
“JPP has already issued a circular regarding the polls which were postponed before and it will take place on Oct 21. I hope the polls will go smoothly without any untoward incident,” he said when contacted today.
The polls, which were supposed to take place on Sept 23, were postponed due to problems in the e-voting system in Kedah and Pulau Pinang.
The Perlis polls would involve party branches in Kangar, Padang Besar and Arau.
