JOHOR BARU: Barisan Nasional candidate for Iskandar Puteri (P162) parliamentary seat Datuk Jason Teoh Sew Hock is not in awe going against Lim Kit Siang for the Iskandar Puteri seat come election day.

In fact Teoh, the 49-year-old MCA Gelang Patah chairman who secured his place to contest for the seat in today’s nomination, said he never felt so comfortable to face Lim.

“I was supposed to go against him during the last election but had to relinquish the seat to Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Othman,” he said.

Although he had to wait for five years to contest against the DAP top man, Teoh is grateful that the chance had finally come.

“I have no qualms to contest against him as I waited for this day to happen. It’s not a matter of who is contesting but what the person contesting had done for his community.
