KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin wants all Barisan Nasional (BN) party leaders to be mentally prepared to readily accept the decision of chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak on seat allocation for the 14th general election (GE14).
The Puteri Umno chief said now was the time for all BN leaders to give their full support to Najib as GE14 was imminent.
“For Masjid Tanah, any decision by Datuk Seri Najib will be accepted openly because I believe it has served and given the best to the people in the area,” said Mas Ermieyati, who is the incumbent for the Masjid Tanah parliamentary seat in Melaka.
She said she was confident the people would continue to give BN the mandate to administer the country in GE14.
This, said Mas Ermieyati, was because BN had a good track record and had done well in running the country and helping the people.
“So, this is the best time for the people to continue to support the BN government because many things have been planned and carried out for the comfort and harmony of the people.
“If we consider the BN government's performance so far, I am confident the people will continue to provide us the support,” she said.
