KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a man attacking another man with a golf club, allegedly in a traffic altercation in Pagoh, Johor, has gone viral on social media.
In the 54-second clip, the video shared on Info Kemalangan/Jenayah Terkini Seluruh Malaysia Facebook page, showed a man driving his red Mitsubishi sedan, seemingly trying to knock over another man, dressed in a white T-shirt and jeans.
The man then exited his Singapore-plate vehicle armed with a golf club in hand and started attacking the man in white.
A few seconds later, an elderly man and a woman tried to break apart the fight and the duo continued arguing over what seemed to be a minor car accident involving the Mitsubishi car and a four-wheel drive Toyota.
The Muar district police in a short statement said the incident occurred at KM139.6 of the North-South Expressway in Pagoh, on Feb 10, at about 1.58pm.
"There had been one police report regarding the incident in question.
"A press statement will be released as soon as complete facts have been obtained," the police said.
