KUALA LUMPUR: A crane lost its balance and collided with a car on the roadside when the workers were installing decorative lights here yesterday.

It is learnt that no one was injured in the incident near the Salak Selatan police station.

In a video uploaded on the Warga Salak Selatan/Sri Petaling/Kuchai Lama Facebook Page, social media user Abu Talhah said the incident occurred as the truck with the crane lost its balance,

The driver of the crane was seen struggling to regain control, resulting in it crasing into the stationary vehicle.

Abu Talhah raised concerns about the need for enhanced safety measures during such operations.

He urged the contractor responsible for the task to take proactive steps to address what happened.

The New Straits Times has reached out to police to respond on the incident.
