KUALA LUMPUR: An e-hailing driver received praise from netizens for making an effort to comfort a passenger who had recently lost his father.

In a video posted by TikTok user @joeoh333, he shared a video of a conversation that took place while he was on his way sending a passenger to the airport.

"OTW (on the way) to KLIA. An Indian migrant worker just received news about the passing of his father.

"He was crying and shared with a Chinese grab driver (referring to himself) about his inability to live (following the demise of his father).

"Life is tough," wrote the caption of the video, in which the passenger was seen wiping his tears and looking distraught.

He can be heard asking; "Are you okay bro?"

The user @joeoh333 was also seen trying to distract the passenger by asking about his family in India.

In one part of the conversation, the passenger told him that the last time he saw his father was many years ago.

In the comment section, netizens praised @joeoh333, for comforting the passenger.
