KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the public apprehended a tudung-clad man suspected to have recorded women in the toilet of a retail outlet in Johor recently.
In a viral video posted by @jnmalaysia on X, the man was seen being held by another man at a shop there while being questioned about his act.
His mobile phone was then confiscated by a woman off camera who later demanded for the password to see if he had managed to record videos of women in the toilet.
"Give me the password now! Don't you dare lie... or else I will smack you!," she said.
As the woman checked the man's mobile phone, others asked him to show off his disguises such as the tudung and women's sandals he used to enter the toilet.
At this juncture, the man revealed that he was married and appeared to be frustrated that he had been caught in act.
"Just let it go sis, I am so ashamed," said the man.
Netizens meanwhile said the man should face the consequences for his action.
"Why don't you go and stalk your own wife then," said X user @NawraYusoff.
Another netizen suggested that the man might be trying to make some money from the recorded videos.
"Check his Telegram, he must be a seller," said X user dofidodi.
At Press time, the viral post on X has garnered over 500,000 views.
