KUALA LUMPUR: Condolences poured in for Instagram daredevil Remi Lucidi who died after falling off from a high-rise residential block in Hong Kong's Mid-Levels area.
Thirty year-old Lucidi, better known on social media as Remi Enigma, is believed to have been trapped outside the highest unit of Tregunter Tower, according to the South China Morning Post.
He then panicked and knocked on the window, startling a maid in the residence who then called the police.
He, however, slipped and fell off the skyscraper.
Hong Kong police found Lucidi's sports camera, which contained videos of extreme sports, as well as his French identity card at the scene of the incident.
On his Instagram @remnigma, saw platform users express condolences over his death.
Among them was @usamalama_ who wrote; "RIP brother. Sad news no one ever wants to hear about a fellow explorer."
Another user @dncrco wrote; "Bro went out doing what he loved! He lived his life fully. Not many can say that."
@mudakagavno wrote: ''If his family makes some sort of donation for his funeral please let me know. I would love to help."
However, there were users who called out Lucidi's act, saying that he unnecessarily put his life in such a danger.
Among them was @auris_jc, who wrote; "Well, although I feel sorry for his family, it was his choice. Nothing to feel sorry for him. He went the way he chose to live, unfortunately the people who love the thrill don't think about the people they leave behind."
