KUALA NERUS: A man was killed when his car collided with a trailer at Km27 of Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kota Baru here this morning.
Muhammad Aliudin Khuzaimi Mohd Saidi, 21, died at the scene.
Kuala Terengganu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd Noor said the driver of the trailer lost control of his vehicle, which entered the opposite lane and collided with the victim's car.
"The trailer overturned after hitting a barrier on the left side of the road.
"The driver suffered minor injuries and was sent to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu for treatment."
Azli said the victim's body was sent to the same hospital for a post-mortem.
"There were no street lights on that stretch and it was dark when the accident happened."
