KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has been advised to focus on resolving issues surrounding development projects in Kedah before meddling in matters involving other states.

"Instead of busying himself with affairs in other states, it would be better for him to focus on ensuring that all development projects, including those involving the (racing) circuit, are completed in Kedah.

"He talks a lot but does not get much done," said PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil today.

Fahmi rebuked the Kedah Menteri Besar, who is also Perikatan Nasional (PN) director, over the latter's remarks on the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat by-election.

"This is contrary to the Selangor Menteri Besar (Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari) who will honour what ever is announced (for Selangor)," he told reporters here.

Fahmi, who is also the Communications Minister, was asked to comment on the statement made by Sanusi yesterday, that the decision by MCA to sit out the by-election will give the opposition the upper hand.

Sanusi said unlike PH and Barisan Nasional, there was no "boycott" within PN.

"The Kedah Menteri Besar has already a sedition case involving the Sultan of Selangor.

"Therefore, I think Sanusi should just shut up (from making any more comments)," Fahmi said.
