KUALA LUMPUR: An old video shared by a close friend, showing one of the helicopter crash victims smiling and laughing joyously with friends while preparing food for their family day celebration, has stirred emotions among the public.
The video, shared by Tokey Sticker on his X platform, shows Warrant Officer II TMK Mohd Shahrizan Mohd Termizi participating in a gotong-royong with his friends, believed to be in 2022.
The 46-second video captures Shahrizan smiling and joking around with friends while diligently cutting carrots.

"This is a video of us doing gotong-royong cooking during the ZRR80 Northern 2022 Family Day.
"May Allah place Shahrizan Mohd Termizi among the believers. Al-Fatihah," he wrote.
In a separate post, the user also called on others to pray for Shahrizan, who was involved in the helicopter crash in Lumut.
The posts quickly garnered condolence messages from the public.

"It's a big trial for Kak Ain and family.
"(I am) shocked to hear this news," wrote a user named Suriati.
Shahrizan was among 10 crew members who died following a collision between two helicopters this morning.
The helicopter, an Agusta Westland AW139 Maritime Operations Helicopter (HOM) and a Eurocopter Fennec collided during a mid-air manoeuvre during a flypast training for the RMN's 90th-anniversary celebrations.
Following the collision, the AW139 HOM helicopter crashed at the steps of the Navy Stadium while the Fennec crashed near the Navy Sports Complex pool.
