BALING: The 8-year-old boy who was killed by a collapsing brick wall at his home in Kuala Ketil, yesterday, had died from severe head injuries.

Baling police chief Superintendent Shamsudin Mamat said this was confirmed by a post-mortem examination carried out on the boy's body at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital.

He said the body has been taken back to Baling after the post-mortem for funeral arrangements.

Yesterday, it was reported that the victim died after a brick wall fell on him in Kampung Padang Lalang Besah, Kuala Ketil.

The collapsed wall was part of the kitchen section that was undergoing renovation works.

The victim's younger sibling was also hit by the same brick wall, but suffered only minor injuries.
