NIBONG TEBAL: In a celebration of the local community and the natural and historical beauty of Nibong Tebal, the Seberang Prai Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Service Centre of KADUN Jawi, has announced the Nibong Tebal 2024 Photography Competition. The competition, themed "I Love Nibong Tebal," begins on Feb 8 and will run until April 26.
The council, in a Facebook post on Feb 9, invited photographers across Malaysia to capture the essence of Nibong Tebal and feature its vibrant community, heritage buildings, landmarks, and the rich flora and fauna of Southern Seberang Perai.
Participation in the photography contest is free and open to all Malaysian citizens. Entrants are encouraged to showcase their creativity and love for Nibong Tebal through their lenses. The competition promises to be a platform for amateur and professional photographers alike to exhibit their talent and bring the hidden gems of Nibong Tebal to light.
The contest boasts attractive prizes for the winners. The top prize is set at RM 750, followed by RM 500 for the first runner-up, and RM 250 for the second runner-up. Additionally, five consolation prizes of RM 100 each will be awarded.
