JOHOR BARU: Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) has donated 2,100 food bags to various care centres for the elderly, disabled and orphans throughout Johor, Media Digital Johor reported.

The contribution was presented by YSIJ trustee Datuk Avinderjit Singh to Johor Social Welfare Department director Pathmanathan R. Nalasamy.

The ceremony took place at Pusat Jagaan Rumah Perlindungan Fitrah Qaseh in Taman Dato' Onn on Feb 8 and was also attended by YSIJ CEO Mohd Anizam Jamian.

Avinderjit, speaking to the Royal Press Office, highlighted YSIJ's commitment to alleviating the burdens faced by the underprivileged.

"YSIJ continually extends a helping hand to those in need, actively assisting the people regardless of religion and ethnicity," he said.
