KUALA LUMPUR: Titiwangsa member of parliament Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani today handed out donations to the Titiwangsa Zone Federal Territory Residents' Representative Council (MPPWP).

In his Facebook post, Johari who is the Plantation and Commodities Minister made contributions to the Titiwangsa Zone MPPWP which comprises six sub-zones namely Desa Pandan, Kampung Baru, Kampung Datuk Keramat, Maluri, Cochrane and Ampang.

He said the Titiwangsa Zone MPPWP was established as an administration consisting of community leaders from the respective areas.

"Its purpose is to assist with the needs of residents in regards to urban issues in the area. These MPPWP members will serve as liaison persons to the local community.

"Among the main functions of MPPWP is to act as a conduit for relaying information, feedback, complaints, problems or residents' needs to the member of parliament, local authorities and many others."

He advised MPPWP members to fully dedicate their responsibilities towards the Titiwangsa parliamentary constituency.

He hoped the Titiwangsa Zone MPPWP members will carry out their responsibilities with dedication and trustworthiness so that they will serve the people well.
