KUALA LUMPUR: Former Department of Community Communication (J-Kom) director general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff, is expected to give a statement at the Federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman here tomorrow.

The move comes in connection with the investigation into the sexual harassment allegations against J-Kom employee Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, 33, which is believed to have occurred in Bintulu, Sarawak, last October.

Sources have confirmed that the former political lecturer will appear at around 10 am and will be accompanied by his lawyer Faizal Abd Rahman.

Earlier, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that an investigation was underway regarding allegations of sexual harassment involving Agus towards Wahab, reportedly occurring in a hotel in Bintulu on October 21.

Subsequently, Razarudin he said the case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for outraging modesty and Section 377D of the same code for violating decency.

Wahab filed a report at the Kajang Police Station with his lawyer on November 30.

Prior to this, he had reportedly submitted recorded conversations related to an explicit video that went viral involving Agus.
