KAJANG: Former Community Communication Department (J-KOM) Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff had his statement recorded at the Kajang district police headquarters today.

He arrived at the headquarters in a Toyota Estima accompanied by two of his lawyers at 2pm.

Dressed in a light blue shirt and black pants, Agus managed to wave at the group of media practitioners waiting outside the police headquarters, before the trio walked towards the investigation area.

A video call recording between Agus and another J-KOM officer, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir recently went viral. It is alleged to have been edited by some irresponsible parties.

This was admitted by Abdul Wahab in a press conference with Agus, who claimed that he took instructions from a Mr H, who made him an 'offer' in exchange for the video.

The 34-year old Abdul Wahab in his confession claimed that the video call he screen-recorded was muted without audio, but the one which went viral included an audio track, allegedly edited to put Agus in a bad light.

Following the viral video, Agus had immediately tendered his resignation from his DG position.

Agus is expected to speak to the press after the statement taking process.
