KUALA LUMPUR: Former Community Communications Department (J-KOM) director-general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff is expected to hold a press conference at a hotel in Bandar Baru Bangi tonight.
A legal firm representing Agus issued a media invitation today for a briefing that will be held at the Tenera hotel at 8pm.
"We, on behalf of Yang berbahagia Dato' Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff invite our media friends to attend a press briefing session scheduled for today," said the invitation from Tetuan Faizal Rahman and Co.
The press conference is being held a day after Agus handed his resignation from the J-KOM D-G post.
The New Straits Times will carry the press conference live from the location tonight.
Earlier today, Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said Agus had resigned and was no longer associated with the government or the agency.
