KUANTAN: The 10 vehicle owners who on July 7 illegally parked their cars in the no-parking zone in Kuantan Art Street, located in the back alley of Jalan Besar here, have been issued compounds.

The Kuantan City Council said it had tracked down the car owners based on the registration numbers obtained from closed-circuit television cameras.

The council said the 10 owners had caused an obstruction in a public place.

"Based on our investigations, the vehicle owners also removed the barriers put at the entrance of Kuantan Art Street.
