ZULHIJJAH is the last month in the Hijri calendar and is the month where Muslims who are financially and physically able ought to complete the fifth Pillar of Islam, which is to perform Hajj.
While Ramadan is known for its spiritual significance during the last ten days, Zulhijjah is significant for Muslims during the first ten days, as those who perform good deeds during this time will receive more pahala than those who carry out jihad.
In line with this, AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd (AIA PUBLIC Takaful) has introduced the "Nikmat Disyukuri, Rezeki Dikongsi" campaign to coincide with the month of Zulhijjah and to mark the beginning of Awal Muharram.
In partnership with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia (YFBM), this campaign strives to provide aid and support to those in need, particularly the B40 community.
As a takaful operator committed to the well-being of the community, AIA PUBLIC Takaful wants to provide a platform to encourage Malaysians to share their rezeki (sustenance) and provide assistance just by scanning a QR code.
With the QR code scanning function as an alternative to payment transactions, users can now perform charity by donating easily and quickly.
People who want to participate in this campaign can channel donations directly to YBFM through DuitNow QR.
Users can scan the SedeQR code using the QR scanner of their bank application or through BillPlz. Then, they will be prompted to enter the total amount to be donated.

The funds raised will be channeled in the form of basic food supplies to underprivileged local communities across the country.
Those who channel donations through the DuitNow QR code can also claim tax exemption from YBFM by uploading proof of transaction when applying.
For donations through BillPlz, users will be taken directly to the Tax Exemption Receipt Application Form.
This campaign ends July 31, 2022, so users are encouraged to donate for the common good.
