The completion of the 232 semi-detached terrace houses in Bentong brings the total number of homes completed by the company to 133,238 units to date.

Since it was established, SPNB has taken on the role of increasing homeownership opportunities by building more affordable housing for Malaysians.

SPNB chief executive officer, Datuk Haslee Isnin said the management is now focused on ensuring homes can be completed and the welfare of buyers is given priority.

"This is proven by SPNB's success to hand over the Projek Perumahan Makmur Karak Setia Idaman residential units, despite the country facing the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

"Despite the setbacks during these difficult times, our priority is to resolve the issues concerning previous projects which have yet to be completed or left abandoned," he said during a working visit and inspection of the completed project site.

He said SPNB Lake View Jaya residential units were built on an area measuring 31ha involving 232 units with a built-up area of 1,158 square feet each, which guarantees comfort for occupants.

"We appreciate the support and trust from the Pahang government to provide land to be developed as Projek Perumahan Makmur Karak Setia Idaman, Lake View Jaya by SPNB," he said.

He said the residential project with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of about RM34 million is equipped with infrastructure that highlights the concept of a complete ecosystem for sustainable and affordable living for every buyer.

"The basic facilities and services includes education, health, banking and easy access to major highways," he said

Each semi-detached terrace housing unit is equipped with three rooms and two bathrooms with a reasonable price starting from RM148,000 per unit.
