KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) announced that the emergency and left lanes between Tapah and Bidor will be closed for five days for pavement maintenance works.

"To allow for pavement maintenance work to be carried out smoothly, the emergency and left lanes between Tapah and Bidor at KM329.64 and KM331.79 Southbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicles for five days from 9am on Jan 22 to 12:30pm, Jan 26.

"However, the right lane of the affected stretch is still passable for all vehicles," it said in a statement.

PLUS also said they placed high priority on safety and comfort and continuously sought to improve both aspects on all its highways.

PLUS said they fully appreciate the cooperation of all highway customers throughout the maintenance period.

"In the spirit of #KitaJagaKita, the support from highway customers in ensuring that the traffic flow is as smooth as possible will contribute to a positive journey for all.

"As such, all highway customers heading south are strongly advised to plan their journey using the PLUS App and check the latest traffic conditions via CCTV feeds or use the SOS button in the app to request for help from the PLUSRonda team," PLUS said.

Customers passing through the designated area are also advised to follow all traffic signages and instructions by PLUS personnel.
