KUALA LUMPUR: The Rantau Panjang Water Treatment Plant (WTP), along with the Sungai Selangor WTP Phase 1,2 and 3, resumed operations at 3.30am and 5am, respectively, this morning.

In an update at 6am, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said this was following a 0 TON (Threshold Odour Number) reading, three consecutive times.

Last night, Air Selangor said operations at the four WTPs had to be halted due to pollution at water resources, which led to an unscheduled supply disruption for 1,274 areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Shah Alam, Klang, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat.

Air Selangor said the latest information on developments is available at its Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, Air Selangor app and www.airselangor.com.
