SHAH ALAM: Participants of the 3rd 'Bonita' zumba dance session sweated it out for a good cause at Uni3Fit EVO Studio here today.

According to Uni3Fit Evo's founder Emelia Khalik, part of the proceeds from Bonita would be channelled to Orkids (acronym for Our Kids are Special), an NGO supporting children with down syndrome.

Orkids operates a service centre that provides education and vocational training for school going children with learning disabilities.

"We want to create an event that helps empower women and also contribute to society," she said.

President of Orkids Noora Matrifin said the Bonita initiative was commendable as it made the society more aware of the plight of disabled kids, while making them feel happier with the show of support and love.
