KOTA BARU: Two teenagers were killed when the motorcycle they were riding collided with an errant cow, causing them to fall into the opposite lane where they were run over by a car near here, last night.
Both the deceased, who were 17-years-old, died at the scene in the 9.20pm accident at Kampung Simpang Cabang Tinggi, Sabak.
It is learnt that the riders of the Honda RS150 were heading from Sabak to Pengkalan Chepa when they collided with the bovine, causing them to fall into the path of the oncoming car.
Their remains were brought to the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) in Kubang Kerian for post-mortems, said Kota Baru police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rahim Daud.
