PASIR MAS: Police are seeking information on three men including two siblings to assist in investigation on the murder of a man in Kampung Baru Alor Pasir, Bukit Tuku, here in August.

Pasir Mas district police chief Abdullah Mohammad Piah said the suspects were identified as Noor Azlan Ismail, 31, his elder brother, Effendy Ismail, 35, and Mohammad Faiz Abd Ghani, 26.

“We have arrested 23-year-old brother of the sibling duo after he was involved in a break-in of a motorcycle workshop in Tok Uban last month.

“Currently, we are tracking down the three other suspects after investigation revealed that they were involved in a fight with the victim whose body was found at a house’s backyard,” he said.

It was reported that the police found the body with slash wounds on his head and body after being alerted by the public.

In a separate case, Abdullah said the police were also locating a man known as Saw Kim San, 32 for the murder of 33 year-old man at a fast food premises in Gual Tinggi in August last year.

“The suspect was believed to have stabbed the victim with a knife before disappearing and is still at large,” he said.

He said both cases were being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

“We believe that the four men are still in the country as there were no records of them travelling abroad.

“Those with information on them may channel the information to the police for further action,” he said.
