ALOR STAR: The wedding reception for Alif Nasir and Masmuliyani Mamat was made even more memorable with the presence of the ultimate guest of honour, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Taking time off his packed schedule, the prime minister had dropped by to attend the wedding reception which was held at the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Hall in Insaniah University College here.
He arrived at about 2pm and was accompanied by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah.
Alif is the third child of Kedah Umno organising secretary Datuk Nasir Murad.
Also present at the reception were Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and other state Umno leaders.
