GEORGE TOWN: Sarawak Wanita Barisan Nasional personally knows every voter in the state, said Wanita BN chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil today.

"The womens’ wing there personally knows every voter in the state and they are ever ready to face the election campaign period," she said at the An-Nur squad ceremony at MRSM Balik Pulau.

At least 50 per cent of voters in the upcoming 11th Sarawak election will be women, she added.

Shahrizat said women voters played an important role in determining the election voter turnout.

"We have always worked closely with the Wanita BN in Sarawak and I have to say that their spirits are high.
