DUNGUN: Former Dungun member of Parliament Datuk Matulidi Jusoh passed away, following complications caused by diabetes, at his home in Taman Alor Jejawi here this morning.
The 58-year-old collapsed when he was walking to the bathroom before performing a Subuh prayer.
According to his son Mohd Nazir, his father was the Dungun MP from 2008 to 2013. In the last general election, he contested the Paka state seat but lost to Satipul Bahari Mamat of Pas.
He left behind his wife, Datin Che Norlela Ismail and three children.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, Dungun MP Wan Hassan Wan Ramli and others attended the funeral held at the Syed Yahya muslim cemetery.
