LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is set to reopen tomorrow with a new attraction, Planet Legoland, together with its existing attractions - its Theme Park, Water Park, Hotel and Sea Life Malaysia.

Visitors arriving at the new attraction will be greeted by an almost 2m-wide Lego globe built out of more than 200,000 bricks.

Planet Legoland is a build experience that encourages children and their parents to unleash their imaginations by building, unbuilding and rebuilding the world of their dreams with Lego bricks.

"We want to celebrate our reopening by giving our guests something new and meaningful that they can discover, participate in and enjoy," says divisional director CS Lim.

"At Planet Legoland, there are no rules. It only takes unlimited creativity as we empower children to make the world a little brighter."

However, guests at Planet Legoland are to maintain at least a 2-meter distance when building in this new experience.

All safety guidelines such as face masks, the use of hand sanitizer, and reduced capacity are enforced. All bricks in the space are "quarantined" for 72 hours after sanitisation, while build stations are cleaned several times daily.

In conjunction with the reopening, the resort is offering some attractive deals that include complimentary stays at Legoland Hotel and F&B vouchers with purchases of its park passes and hotel stay.
