AS the country continues its battle against Covid-19, AIA Malaysia wants to further extend its support to protect an increasingly vulnerable population - children and expecting mothers, by offering them Covid-19 Hospital Income Cover.
The initiative is part of its "Anakku Sihat, Negaraku Hebat" campaign.
It is open to children (aged 17 and below) and expecting mothers, including existing AIA customers without needing to purchase or participate in any AIA plans.
"We understand the anxieties that parents are currently experiencing about their children's welfare and safety amidst the pandemic," says AIA Berhad chief executive officer Ben Ng.
Earlier in June, AIA extended Covid-19 coverage for vaccination side-effects and home quarantine to many Malaysians.
"We realised that expecting mothers and children continue to be exposed to this infectious disease. Our latest hospital income cover allows us to provide additional Covid-19 protection to this vulnerable population," adds Ng.
The Covid-19 Hospital Income Cover is available until Dec 31 or when the total claims limit reaches RM 1 million, whichever comes first and is subject to terms and conditions.
