KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and model Thanuja Ananthan reveals that she is now in a relationship with a man who hails from London, but currently lives here.
In a news report today, the artiste who was also the Miss World Malaysia 2009 title holder said that they met eight months ago and are now in the phase of getting to know each other.
"Currently, I'm very happy as there is someone special in my life now. We're still getting to know each other and let's see what happens in the next one or two years.
"We were introduced by our mutual friends and we both hope this relationship will develop into something more concrete in the future," said the 38-year-old artiste.
Thanuja added that what makes the man more attractive to her is that he understands and is supportive of her work.
"He is also an animal lover, just like me," she added, describing her beau who is eight years older.
Teased on why didn't she pick a local man, Thanuja who stands 183cm tall (she's a six-footer), jokingly replied that most Malaysian men she met were intimidated by her towering height.
