KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Afifah Nasir, 31, tied the knot with Syed Hariz at a wedding ceremony held at a major hotel here, at 4 pm, yesterday.
According to a Harian Metro report yesterday, the good news was shared by her good friend and fellow actress Riena Diana.
Riena said that she was grateful that Afifah and her partner were safely married.
"Praise be to God, Afifah and Hariz are now legally married as husband and wife after one lafaz.
"Their nikah ceremony featured a white theme and was held as a closed-door event attended only by family members and their closest friends," she said.
It is understood their reception was held at the same location last night.
Afifah got engaged to Hariz last February.
