STUDENTS sitting the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 examination will receive extra help in their final preparations through the 'PTTI Pecutan Akhir SPM 2023' programme.

The new study aid is a collaboration between Media Prima Berhad, via ntv7, and PTTI Group Sdn Bhd, a pioneer in digital education in Malaysia that has achieved success in changing the paradigm of traditional learning towards a more interactive and effective digital experience.

'PTTI Pecutan Akhir SPM 2023' will air live on ntv7 every Saturday and Sunday at 10am beginning today.

Students can also watch the series live via tonton Live TV and XTRA Live TV, as well as on YouTube @ntv7MALAYSIAOfficial.

The 16-episode series will feature learning methods and techniques to answer SPM examination questions for core and science stream subjects, namely Bahasa Melayu, English, History, Science, Add Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Each hour-long episode will be conducted by a panel of experienced teachers from PTTI.

"We welcome collaborations such as this to further diversify the educational programmes and edutainment content on ntv7.

"We hope that ntv7 viewers, especially the candidates for SPM 2023, will benefit greatly from the 'PTTI Pecutan Akhir SPM 2023' programme, which introduces a variety of learning methods in an easy, concise and interesting manner.

"This programme will also be beneficial for students in the outskirts and rural areas, who may not have access to the Internet or digital devices," said ntv7 chief executive officer (CEO) Seelan Paul during a press conference for the series at Sri Pentas in Bandar Utama.

Present were Media Prima Omnia chief operating officer Datuk Mohd Efendi Omar and PTTI Group Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Siti Farhana Abu Osman, as well as celebrities Iman Troye and MK K-Clique, who are PTTI's icons and ambassadors.

Siti Farhana said PTTI is an online education platform in Malaysia with a successful track record for helping students to improve their exam grades through easy and simple learning.

"This initiative not only increases access to quality education but also helps students to achieve academic excellence.

"Through the collaboration with Media Prima Berhad, with ntv7 as the platform, I believe that we can help more students in Malaysia and increase the number of those with straight As for SPM 2023," she said.

Aside from Siti Farhana, fondly known as Miss Fana, the rest of the PTTI teaching staff who will be featured in 'PTTI Pecutan Akhir SPM 2023' are Muhammad Faizul Abd Hamid (Dr Faizul), Race Monsopiad Moujing Jr (Sir Race), Amirul Asyraf Mustafakamal Shah (Sir Berg), Khairul Kamaruddin (Mr K) and Asrin Haikal Amir Hamzah (Sir Asrin).

The seasoned panel also includes Hafiy Hanani Sarju (Miss Hanani), Muhammad Dzulfahmi Salehuddin (Sir Fahmi), Mohd Rashdan Fauzan (Sir Rashdan), Muhammad Rozi Zulamran (Sir Rozi), Khairul Hamidi Khairul Anuar (Sir Midi), Umi Nazira Mohd Yunan (Miss Umi) and Nur Lahaniz Daud (Miss Neez).

They will teach answering techniques based on an analysis of SPM trial questions from each state in Malaysia.

In the studio, these qualified teachers from PTTI will also interact directly with guest students invited to the set to help them to understand and master the methods of scoring well in the SPM exam.

While these invited students will get an invaluable experience in a live TV setting, those watching at home will also be able to relate better to what's happening onscreen.

Iman and MK both agreed that the collaboration would be a boon for students who want to effectively improve themselves before the SPM exam.

"I've worked with PTTI for two years now and I've seen how they are able to improve the grades of students. This shows that they really know what they're doing," said MK.

Iman said there will be fun factors injected into the episodes to create an interesting learning environment for the students both in the studio and for those watching onscreen.

"I'll be hosting some of the episodes and we'll be doing a few things to liven up the episodes so that the students will not just be entertained but will learn in a fun way too," she said.

PTTI, which was established in 2015, has since helped more than 500,000 students in their studies via the online platform.

The company won The Brand Laureate award for Best Brand in 2020 and was named Best Company at the Education 2.0 Conference in Dubai in 2022.
