KUALA LUMPUR: After two years of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, Hausboom Music is coming back with its annual Hausboom Music Concert, and this year's event features 12 popular solo and group artistes of various music genres.
Organiser Hausboom's founder Azri Zahier Azmi or John Lemon said that Hausboom Music 2022 brings a world-class concert experience for fans of rock, ska, reggae, and hip-hop music at affordable ticket prices. It hopes to be the biggest celebration of Malaysian music of the year.
Combining the best of old and new, Hausboom Music 2022 will be held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) in Seri Kembangan, Selangor from 1pm to midnight on Oct 1.
Azri added that Hausboom expects 12,000 music fans to turn up at the event, as they did two years ago.
The 12 artistes who will be sharing the stage in Hausboom Music 2022 are Wings, Hujan, Ruffedge, Joe Flizzow, Masdo, ForceParkBois, Chronicalz, Iqbal M, Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang, Kapow, Banyak Bunyik Republik and Bunkface.
Azri said: "With just one ticket, audiences can witness 12 famous local acts. We initially wanted only 11 to perform but because of overwhelming support we decided to add Bunkface to the list of artistes."
The concert was launched at Westin Hotel in Jalan Bukit Bintang today by Azri. The launch was attended by Datuk Awie of Wings, Joe, Masdo, Chronicalz, Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang, Kapow and Banyak Bunyik Republik.
Hausboom Music 2022 is also supported by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry.
