INSPIRED by the grandeur and heritage of Chinese opera, Intermark Mall invites shoppers to dive into Chinese culture this festive season with "Opera Opulence", featuring festive oriental decorations and cut-outs of graceful opera artists that will surely transport visitors to a bygone era.

In collaboration with fashion designer, Carven Ong, Intermark Mall is also presenting an exclusive "Opera Meets Fashion " collection, inspired by the glorious costumes worn by stage actors of Chinese Opera and displayed on the ground atrium level of the mall.

The vibrantly coloured collection, uses a combination of traditional embroidery and bold prints to symbolise the joy and prosperity that's associated with the Lunar New Year.

Colours like red, pink, orange and green give the traditionally inspired but modernised pieces bold, stand-out looks while choices abound, from dresses and two pieces, to stunning ensembles with flowing, full length capes.

Ong explains that he opted to craft feminine, classic and comfortable ensembles in modern designs for the collection.

From a belted, boldly printed orange kimono top paired with contrasting long culottes in green, to a trendy, halter neck dress with gorgeous, striking embroidery on the chest, the collection appeals in every way to the urban, fashion forward woman who wants to mark the Lunar New Year in a trendy manner.
