H&M's Autumn/Winter 2021 collection seems timely, as it's all about being fearless, brave and being unafraid to make a statement.
This is reflected in its line-up of puffer jacket, puff-ball mini dress, wide legged trousers with cut-outs at the knees, a three-piece pinstripe suit, and more pieces in a punchy colour palette of royal blue, power purple, acidic shots of orange, green as well as black and cream.
Other standout pieces include skin-tight bodysuits, leggings and mesh tops, some sprinkled with sequins and rhinestones.
Traditionally, underwear is not meant to be seen but it's the opposite in this collection where the underwear sets come with multi-straps and metal ring details, which can be paired with sweatshirts and T-shirts, as well as cropped knitwear.
H&M Studio concept designer Linda Wikell said the brand was inspired by modern women who can command power in any situation, whether they're wearing a pinstriped suit or lace underwear.
"We wanted to create versatile designs that you can style to suit your mood, but always hit you in the solar plexus-- these are statement-making designs for confident women," she said.
The accessories selection is equally glamorous and loud, with rubberised rhinestone collar necklace, waterfall-style choker with hardware-store fastening, and stiletto-heeled boots with a chunky platform toe as well as the heavy gum boots.
