KUALA LUMPUR: Competitive games such as Laser Tag and Escape Room have been on the rise for youngsters and families to spend their time together.

With the popularity of such games, a new high-tech game has been created, called Bomb Battle.

Developed by concept and game creator, Mission Group, this multiplayer real-life video game experience is making its mark in Asia, starting with Selangor.

"The concept started by connecting human gamification. Although nowadays we are more tech-savvy and tech has helped us a lot, these gadgets have reduced actual human interaction. As a huge supporter of interactive and immersive activity, we created something that uses a high-technology system. We designed the whole system using IoT," entrepreneur Datin Sheehan Tee said.

Equipped with innovative technology such as the company's touch screen, IoT system, and laser maze hardware, the high-tech game challenges players' intellect and skills by defusing a paint bomb in 75 minutes.

The game is inspired by action movies, game shows, escape games, and esports, which comprises five rooms entailing three levels of difficulty that are perfect for players of various levels.

Failure to complete the mission will result in the players getting drenched with paint from the explosion.

Furthermore, the game premise ensures players' safety by providing full-body hazmat suits and protective gear.

Also present as partners at the event were GoPro as their Official Camera Partner, Klook Malaysia as their official online travel agent, as well as Hausboom as their official beverage partner.

"We are thrilled to introduce digital assets as a significant stride towards staying ahead of the game. Our exclusive rewards and incentives for players who possess digital assets not only enhance their experience but also help drive customer engagement and turnout. This feature is unavailable to non-visitors or those without digital assets, making it a unique opportunity for our valued players to stay ahead of the curve," Tee added.

The digital assets will be available to players soon and they can purchase the tickets via Bomb Battle's website and on Klook Malaysia,

They can also choose between Bomb Mission or VIP Mission where the pricing starts at RM89 per person.
