PETALING JAYA: ASUS Malaysia is bringing the public a compact smartphone that is not only affordable but also equipped with class-leading features including FullView Display and Face Unlock function.

The ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is the first ASUS smartphone with a 5.7-inch full view display that is fitted in a body that is no larger than most standard 5.2-inch smartphones. It has an ultrawide 18:9 aspect ratio which makes for immersive viewing of photos and videos.

The hallmark of the Max series is the long lasting battery capacity and the ZenFone Max Plus does not disappoint user with its 4,130mAh battery power.

For photography, 16MP + 8MP dual cameras sport the back of the phone with 120 degrees of wide angle lens for better framing and depth of field. On the front, there is a 16MP camera which incorporates the Beauty and also Selfie Panorama mode.

While there is a fingerprint sensor on the back, the ZenFone Max Plus also has a Face Unlock function as an added security.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek MT6750T Octa-core processor and runs on ASUS’ own ZenUI 4.0 operating system that is based on Android 7.0. It boasts a 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The triple slots are convenient for those who having more than one sim card, which means you do not have to sacrifice the additional microSD card slot for your second sim.

The price? ZenFone Max Plus (M1) retails for RM899 and will be available from Dec 20 in three gorgeous colours – Sunlight Gold, Azure Silver, and Deepsea Black.
